What counts as a 'seat'?
A seat is one active user account within your firm's workspace. Admins, lawyers, and paralegals each consume one seat. You can invite or remove members at any time from firm settings.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated); downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
Sign up with no credit card required. You get full access to Professional features for 14 days. At the end of your trial, choose the plan that fits your firm — or let it expire.
What AI model powers the platform?
eLaw uses Claude Sonnet for the AI Assistant and Legal Research, and Claude Opus (with extended thinking) for Agents — giving you the best model for each task type.
Is my firm's data kept private?
