Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes activities that are prohibited when using the eLaw platform. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
1. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Engage in unauthorized practice of law in any jurisdiction
- Generate or distribute content that infringes intellectual property
- Process personal data without a lawful basis under applicable Data Protection Laws
- Submit content that you do not have the right to upload
- Engage in fraud, deception, or impersonation
2. Prohibited Content
Do not upload, generate, or distribute content that:
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal weapons
- Sexually exploits minors or contains CSAM
- Constitutes harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse
- Contains malware, exploits, or other malicious code
- Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- Discloses regulated personal data outside the contractual scope
3. Security Violations
You may not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization (see our Vulnerability Disclosure Program)
- Breach or circumvent authentication, authorization, or access controls
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service through DDoS, abuse, or excessive automated requests
- Access another firm's workspace or data without authorization
- Attempt to reverse engineer the Service or extract underlying models
4. AI Misuse
Do not use the AI features to:
- Generate disinformation or impersonate real individuals to deceive
- Produce content that infringes copyright at scale
- Bypass content safety mechanisms in the underlying models
- Train competing AI systems using the Service's outputs
- Provide legal advice to end users without appropriate human review
Output may be inaccurate. You must independently verify any AI-generated content before using it in client work.
5. Resource Abuse
You may not exceed plan limits through artificial means, share accounts beyond your seat allocation, or generate workloads designed primarily to consume capacity rather than produce work product.
6. Reporting
To report a violation of this policy, email abuse@elawplatform.com. We investigate every report and respond within five business days.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action including warnings, throttling, content removal, account suspension, or termination. For severe violations or those involving illegal activity, we may notify law enforcement and preserve relevant data as required by law.
